Reprezentanty Irska v mezinárodní soutěži Eurovision Song Contest 2012 se stalo opět bratrské duo Jedward, které bude v letošním roce soutěžit s písní „Waterline“.

John Paul Henry Daniel Rcichard Grimes a Edward Peter Anthony Kevin Patrick Grimes se zapsali do podvědomí diváků svou účastí v talentové show X Factor a později i svým debutovým singlem „Under Presure“, na kterém hostoval slavný rapper Vanilla Ice.
V roce 2011 reprezentovali Irsko v Eurovision Song Contest, odkud přivezli nejlepší umístění pro tuto zemi za poslední léta a bratři se netajili svým záměrem odjet soutěžit znovu. Po několika spekulacích, bylo rozhodnuto, že se John a Edward zúčastní irského národního kola Eurosong, ze kterého vzešli jako vítězové.
V roce 2012 tak budou reprezentovat Irsko na mezinárodní soutěži Eurovize s písní „Waterline“.
